Wild Floridian Game-Designer appears!
« on: April 27, 2012, 08:46:17 AM »
Hi~!

I'm a 23-year-old games-enthusiast, aspiring to create a business based around competitive gaming. The two major components of my plan as it stands is to start a vlog documenting my training-regimen and to develop my own games. On the latter strategy, I've been writing tutorials on my blog (which I will not link because its ratio of actual useful information to general silliness is rather out of whack) and assisting others with any problems they bring to me. As I go on, I'll explore various ways to generate passive income; teaching others, and growing the still-young e-sports industry by inspired players making wise financial decisions by themselves.

I can work on websites, too, but I usually despise doing them. :o

Jack's work and I first crossed paths about two years ago, when I was investigating how to live on the streets as nicely as possible. He's really helped me to understand how possible it is to live a comfortable and enriching life, and I deeply wish to pass that on to other slacker-types that hide away from living because nobody showed them something they'd actually want to aspire to. I'm very hopeful about the time I'll spend here!

Welcome from another Floridian. Don't worry about the sillyness of your content, just be yourself that's what will attract more people is you are not just another faceless personality. I say roll with it brother.

Yeah, but... well, you tell me if I make a good or bad impression~!

One weakness of being a game-developer is that there's not a lot to blog about day-to-day without taking away from my much-needed coding-time, so I end up posting a lot of whatever; usually bits of practical advice, but hey.

That I can focus on just commentating about the game at hand is why I'm not worried about the vlog: there's less impetus to think of "whole episodes" of content. :-[

Hehe, I understand being a coding fool, actually what I'm doing right now.
I know there are other game developers on the forum, if you have a question or want some commiseration just ask!  :D
