New Business Venture
« on: March 01, 2012, 04:51:46 PM »
Well with the price of everything continuing to rise I have decided that I need to add an additional source of income. I am wanting to do some type of online sales. I just have no idea where to start.

Does anyone have some advice for me?
Is drop shipping the way to go?
What is a good product niche?

I am wanting to start with as minimum of a investment as possible.

Thanks for your assistance

I'm still learning, but I can tell you that to sell 'stuff' you have to spend money to make money. WIth the internet age what it is customers are very intolerant of delays. make sure what ever you're selling is in stock.

You may have heard this before, but Jack would tell you to follow your passion. If there's something that you're just nuts about, chances are there are other people who share that interest. AND most importantly, there should be a way to monetize that interest.

Dropshipping was popular... and lots of people wrote ebooks and things on how to dropship.

But that was 5-10 years ago.

I'm not saying that you can't make money dropshipping but it's probably harder because there is so much competition from other people that started dropshipping 5 years ago.
