Live Video broadcasting
« on: February 06, 2012, 03:44:50 AM »
Has anyone use live video broadcasting sites like justin.tv? I'm still in the planning/brainstorming stage, but I was thinking of using FB and Twitter to shout out I'm broadcasting so people can tune in.  Kind of like what Jack does on FB.   I've got a simple Kodak EIS HD video but I don't think it will do the trick.

What's the basic equipment I would need? I'd like to stay under 500 bucks.

Basic? Just a web cam.
My experiment in live vid streaming beings tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

Basic equipment can be basic webcam stuff.

Check out Vokle.com. I like it better than Spreecast.com but there's a certain Gary calling Spreecast home.

Results from last week's experiment. You can host a show on Vokle with a netbook, but I don't advise it. I deleted the results. (Good event but had no replay potential.)

Trying again tonight with the "regular" show.
