Online course from Udacity - How to build a startup.
« on: January 10, 2013, 04:31:30 PM »
I'm currently going through this course from www.udacity.com. I thought there might be a few people here who might find it helpful. It's focus is mainly on customer development.

If anyone is interested you can also take courses at
https://www.coursera.org/,
https://www.edx.org,
and by now I'm sure many people already know about https://www.khanacademy.org/.

They're all free. :D

Thanks, Heidi, I like that one. For those who want to learn to build games, check out 3dBuzz.com. It's a subscription site but there is enough free material there to keep you busy for months.

I've always thought free plus subscription for more is a good business model.

Me too and the model 3dbuzz uses seems to be working for them. They don't hold back either. When they give a video series for free, they give you the whole thing. They don't give you just the first couple of videos as a teaser and then make you pay for the rest. I paid for a little over a year and finally decided to cancel because there was just too much content and I still hadn't finished most of the free stuff.
