Catering to Non-Profits
« on: December 22, 2011, 05:26:19 PM »
I am planning a website that will cater to not-for-profits (churches, Scouts, etc.). The site will be an online community for our region and will address outreach and missions in the area.

I have pledges of sponsorship from a handful of people to get started, but before I make the investment, I thought I would solicit your opinions on potential revenues, issues, obstacles, for working with not-for-profits.

Thanks.

I would say go for it. Even though you are catering and your main focus are the non-profits I would have to say that those non-profits and people involved with non-profits still spend money and sponsorships and other revenue streams down the line could be lining up.
Congrats on making the leap.
