itunes issues

when i uploaded my last podcast the itunes didnt pick it up, waited a few days, still nothing so i redid the feed info on podpress itunes settings and now the new podcast shows up but now the previous ones are missing.

any ideas?

Go OCD on it.

Check every single setting in your posts. Computers only do what you tell them to... whether you want them to or not.

Pull up your feed and look at the XML. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it. look for post titles and then compare a post/podcast that works with one that doesn't. Look for differences. That should be your smoking gun. The fix depends on the problem.

i rechecked the feed and only the last 10 posts (1 podcast) was on it, that would explain it

but i "updated" the old posts...still not showing up on the feed

i had changed the podpress settings to read a "new feed" and that is what got the new episode up and dropped the old ones.

so if i change it back and click disable "new feed" the old ones show up but the new episode doesnt.

How do i sync all of them to the same feed?

Are you using WordPress?
Are you putting your podcast in a "podcast only" category?

If those are both "yes", don't submit your full RSS feed to iTunes. Submit the category feed.

Your category feed is "www.example.com/category/category-name/feed/" if you didn't tweak anything.

I did what you said and changed my podcast feed to the podcast category and guess what? you were right!
