Seo optimization vs diy
« on: July 24, 2012, 09:31:32 PM »
So in your opinion which is best. Pay someone to do the seo on your blog or to go back through all my posts and redo the tags, and add in proper meta data header tags and stuff like that. I'm sure I don't know everything that an seo guy does, but it is cheaper gp diy.

Which do you guys feel is best?

How valuable is the time you think you'd spend on the task? I could be mistaken, but it seems like search-engine optimization is the skill of effectively tagging your posts as though you were on Twitter. There's more to SEO, but what you're mentioning explicitly boils down to about that much.

I'd say start by doing a little research into SEO, but start doing the gruntwork of rewriting meta information by yourself.
